This electronic/organic hybrid will be sure to have yo booty shakin! We’ll have international, mainland, and local musicians coming together to spread love, joy, and global community through the universal language of sweet, luscious music! This is a unique experience you must’n miss. SPECIAL GUESTS Will Magid is a virtuoso producer, trumpeter and ethnomusicologist, whose brainchild Balkan Bump is an internationally touring act rocking high profile stages from Coachella to Brooklyn Bowl, and collaborations with heavy hitters like Beats Antique, Gramatik, and Gift of Gab. He will be opening the night with an exclusive live looping set. Paul Oliphant is a renowned drummer out of Oakland, CA supplying tight grooves for bangin' bay area band Smoked Out Soul. Also house drummer years over for the legendary Guitarmageddon Event held at High Sierra Music Festival. Killing it on iconic stages like Red Rocks and Outside Lands Music Festival. We're also sourcing the best in local talent, including the Big Island's own Jahred Namaste. A skilled multi-instrumentalist, he wears many hats in our music community, often sitting in with dozens of bands on island, including the likes of Kalapana Awa Band and Lopaka Rootz. Blackwater Railroad is coming back to Big Island and stoked to be playing one of their favorite venues. Kukuau Studio! From string band to full on roots rock, BWRR's evolved sound is bigger and more dynamic than ever. Join us for an evening of dancing with a grooving, high energy sound that whips audiences up into a frenzy. The show is Saturday, January 18. Doors are at 5 PM. Show is at 6 PM.
